A mechanic in a gray T-shirt reaching up to work under a car raised on a two-post lift

Our story

From twelve years at a dealer to our own two bays

Tom Kessler spent twelve years at a dealer before he decided he’d rather tell customers the truth about what their cars needed than meet a sales quota. In 2009 he and Dana opened Ridgeline Auto Care in a former tractor repair garage on Fairview Road, with two bays, one lift and a lot of coffee.

We’ve since grown to five technicians and four lifts. We still estimate in writing, still call before extra work and still turn down jobs we aren’t the right shop for.
