Winter tires or all-seasons? How we help you decide
The honest answer depends on your hill, your commute and your tires. Here’s what we ask before we recommend anything.

Winter tires are better on snow and ice. They’re also an extra set of wheels to store and swap, and many people in Union County do fine on good all-seasons.
Questions we ask
How steep is your road, and does the county plow it early? Do you have to drive in the first hour of a storm? How old are your current tires, and how much tread is left? A set of all-seasons with good tread beats a winter set that’s worn out.
If you go with winters
We swap four wheels for $60 if you have a second set of wheels, or $30 a tire to mount and balance if you don’t. Book the swap before the first forecast of snow, not after.
We’ll never push you toward the more expensive answer. If the tires you have are fine, we’ll say so.
